Project Overview
This project develops a comprehensive electrification roadmap for medium- and heavy-duty (MHD) vehicles in the San Francisco Bay Area, providing strategic guidance for infrastructure deployment, fleet transition strategies, and regional coordination. LBNL is supporting the Rocky Mountain Institute to develop regional MHD charging simulations using the HEVI-LOAD tool and investigate the grid impacts.
